THE YOUNG SHOULD IGNORE COHABITATION

In recent years, more and more young people tend to live together without married. They consider that is absolutely suitable way to express their love. For West countries, cohabitation is a normal and popular phenomenon; however, in Vietnam cohabitation is hardly to be accepted in many sides. In the standpoint of a young Vietnamese, I strongly believe that the young should not cohabit.

For me, the young cohabit mean they themselves lose the value of morality and the value of love. With modern, free life-style of West people, cohabitation is easy to be accepted while Vietnam- the Asian country with a lot of rules of behavior and rules of morality, Vietnamese hardly to agree with cohabitation. I sure that hardly have a mother in law likes a daughter in law who ever cohabited. Some people consider that cohabitation is the effective way to express their love; in addition, that is easy for them to choose a possible husband or wife. When they live together without married, they can know each other’s habit, character, even imperfection. If they accept everything, they will marry. If not, they can easy break up without responsibility or obligation. Nevertheless, traditional  prejudice and  unfamiliar look of around people are all for them. People maybe think that they are an easy-going way of living people and not have a good education. Moreover, cohaitation lose the nice value of love. We love to take care of, sympathize, share and help each other, but all these things can be lose if we express our love by cohabiting. Because a lot of people cohabit only to take advantage of their girlfriend/boyfiend in finance, sexual.So, when they are satify their need, their love do not have anyvalue.Therefore, the young should be vigilant to realize harm caused by cohabitation.

Moreover, easy accept cohabitation make a lot of women pay a heavy price for their health and even their future. According to a recent research of Tuoitre newspaper, Vietnam is one of three countries has the highest abortion ratio in the world with 1.2 to 1.6 million abortion shifts every year. Some people cohabit to decrease the cost of living in the high inflation because they can eat together, rent a one flat, decrease the travel fee. Of course they can save a mount of money from living together. Others cohabit because they are still being a student, so they do not have enough economy to build a real family. The others want to satisfy about emotional and sexual intimacy need. Man are absolutely convinced that if their girlfriends use medicine which avoid fetus, they can comfortable to have sexual intimacy relation without being nervous about having baby. Infact, those medicine are not absolutely effective; on the other hand it affect to women 'health, even lead them become barren inanimate. With a lot of unlucky couple, when the woman have fetus, they have two options: the first option is having a baby and have to face with a lot of economy problem in high price life; the second is aborting the fetus. Most couples choose the second option becase they think that is both easy, quick and convenient. However, abortion is contrary to our humanity.It is too cruel to kill a new life. Moreover, abortion also affects to women ’health a lot. Many women, because of abortion in private hospital with wrong way and not ensure about health, they easy get gynaecology, barren inanimate or even lead to death. And how about the future of these women? Have any man, any family easy accept them who ever cohabited and ever aborted?

The last reason why the young should not cohabit is this is the easy way to make a lot of contagious diseases. Cohabitation is the cycle of cohabiting, breaking up and cohabiting. So, a person can have sexual relationship with others that leads diseases such as contagious, syphilis, gynaecology, even HIV/AIDS.They beleive that using safe way like using medicine or protection thing can avoid those diseases. However, it is really hard when they have too many sexual relationship. With unlucky people ,their life will be difficult and even come to end. A lot of HIV/AIDS people are kept away and been frightened of around people, they can be lose family, lover, job.etc. Although medicine is more progressive, these diseases are still really difficult to treat. Prevention is better than cure; therefore, everyone should build a strong life-style by saying ‘NO’ with cohabitation.

I believe that without cohabitation, the young will have a happier marriage, a stronger health as well as better personality. In this modern life, we live more free, more modern but do not be carried along with the impossible trend with our country like cohabitation.
